Galentine’s Day is celebrated on February 13, the day before Valentine’s Day. It’s a day for celebrating the love you have for all of your gal friends (and YOURSELF). A day dedicated to ‘showering’ or ‘soaking’ your besties with love and attention in whatever way you choose. We rather prefer all things Savage!

Who invented this special day? Well, it was created by fictional politician, Leslie Knope of “Parks and Recreation”. In the Parks and Rec episode, “Galentine’s Day,” Leslie gathers a group of her closest gal pals for a brunch of waffles and love. “Every February 13th, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home and we just come and kick it, breakfast-style,” Leslie says in the episode. “Ladies celebrating ladies.” And thus, Galentine’s Day was unofficially added to everyone’s calendar.

Ideas for celebrating are up to your imagination. Social distancing may put a damper on some soirées, but Zoom is available for virtual get-togethers too. If you want to host a small and safe gathering, perhaps with some festive face masks… You could do a Brunch; Wine & Cheese evening and watch Sex & The City reruns; Resiling and Dessert party where everyone brings a dessert dish; A Group Pedicure, using Savage Soaps Salt Scrubs and Body Butter. Then give everyone Savage Soaps as gifts! The sky’s the limit. It’s your day to do it up however you wish.

Typically, these BFFs are the people who you’ve been through everything together, so pamper and celebrate one another!

If you have friends that live far away, consider giving them a Savage Soaps gift box or gift certificate. They can use the gift certificate online to buy a special gal treat for themselves!
